Ricardo Barrett

Dancer

After being accepted to the American Musical and Dramatic Arts Academy, Ricardo was a three year member of The Jamaica Junior Theatre Company And also The Company Dance Theatre in 2012, under the direction of Tony Wilson. He continued his training there until till he left in 2015 for the Martha Graham School and as a member of Graham 2. During that same time he performed Amanda Kreglow’s “In The Midst of Dying” in TED Talks Live “War & Peace”, Along with multiple Graham and contemporary works, by choreographers like Adam Barruch, and Virginie Mecene. He was a member of the second Company for three years, and an Apprentice with the Martha Graham first company for 2 years. He currently teaches dance, while still exploring different forms and styles of dance.
