Noriko Naraoka was bone in Tokyo, Japan. She started ballet when she was 6 years of age with Ms. Tatsue Sata and Mr. Shouwa Kouchi in japan. When Noriko was 15, she won 2nd prize in Saitama-ken Buyo Competition, also she won the IBM prize in the Asia Ballet Competition. When she was 16, she received a scholarship for the San Francisco Ballet School for a year, and she joined the San Francisco Ballet and performed such as Swan Lake, while she was a student. After she finished the San Francisco Ballet School, and she received a scholarship for the School of American Ballet. Since then, she has performed as a guest artist with many ballet companies, including the Los Angeles Classical Ballet, the Westchester Classical Ballet, etc. and she joined the Dance Theater of Harlem. And she also works with Tabula Rasa Dance Theater. She has started to work with Dzul Dance since 2011.
